Publication Ethics

The International Journal of Wealth Management (IJWM) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. The following principles apply to authors, reviewers, and editors.

Originality and plagiarism

Manuscripts submitted to IJWM must be original work. They must not have been published elsewhere, in whole or in substantial part, and must not be under consideration for publication by another journal or publisher while under review at IJWM. Any use of the words, ideas, or findings of others must be properly cited. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable and will lead to rejection of the manuscript.

Authorship

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported work. All co-authors should have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its submission. Any changes to authorship after submission must be approved by all authors.

Conflicts of interest

Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional interests that could be perceived as influencing the research or its interpretation. Reviewers and editors must likewise recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists.

Corrections and retractions

If a significant error is discovered in a published article, the authors are expected to notify the editorial office promptly so that a correction can be issued. Articles found to contain fabricated data, plagiarism, or other serious ethical breaches may be retracted, with a retraction notice published to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Research integrity

Authors are expected to present their research honestly and accurately, to retain underlying data for a reasonable period, and to comply with applicable ethical standards for research involving human participants or animals, including obtaining necessary approvals and informed consent where required.
